Transformation
Transformation depicts a simple shape that goes through a series of imperceptible changes to give rise to its mirror image. The suspended chromed steel elements appear to hang almost weightless transforming the steel into something of the lightness of a wind-filled sail.
Transformation was selected for showing at the 127th Paisley Art Institute annual exhibition, May 2015.
Materials – Chrome on mild steel, stainless steel wire, borosilicate glass and cherry wood
